“Jewspace Yidparty” is the pre-drinks or morning-after to a Middle Eastern apocalypse. The invitation is to an IRL (in real life) “meet up”. The event could be for a chat group of anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists or an online infantry of ultra-Zionist keyboard warriors, or a lethal combination of both. It is a double attack; a "parodiya" of the propaganda supporting Israeli Occupation of Palestinian land and lives and the virulent racism still threatening Jews.
No real celebration is without a performance; a magician, musician or a clown. The clowns in the video installation are “Yaacov”, a dancing Breslover Hassid and “Avi”, a nightclub “hypemaster” from Tel Aviv. Together, they draw you in to the VR (virtual reality) space of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, where hate speech and spam is copied and pasted, scattered and circulated endlessly in slacktivist forums and comment sections, while conditions IRL continue to worsen.
