It is our ‘actual daily’ preoccupation.Simone Weil asserts that to accept presently available values renders resultant action a mere apparition; we have not moved, “for we are still confined in the same system”.2 We are individuated by sclerotic structures, and I keep my body very safe. But between our heads we may construct something: with this construction we could move.

Reparatively positioned, I assemble modes of partitioning space in an effort to “confer plenitude on objects that will then have resources to offer an inchoate self”. Of her partitions, which she is afraid of, I do not offer a way out, but give space to mourn. Bending and heavy, yet this room is set aside for reception and receptivity.1
