Imagination and Vitality of Nature

I view nature as a primordial presence that brings a sense of belonging. Nature is also a sanctuary from the drudgery of real life, where I can be healed and meditate. My practice addresses nature, how it relates to humans, and how I can communicate my perceptions of nature through my artistic practice. I have also explored environmental protection, which involves moving from subjective prejudices with preconceptions to confusion and chaos, and finally to renewed perceptions.

A sense of nature, environmental awareness and a desire to live sustainably drive my practice that spans a range of media, including painting, photography, and sculpture, in disciplines such as art, philosophy, geology, biology and social ecology.

My film uses organic tones to mobilise a meditative aesthetic that blurs the boundary between matter and life.

Moulin, 2021

Moulin creates a sensory experience similar to witnessing a glacier melting. It captures the power of natural forms and the symbolism of the surrounding environment.
