My ongoing journey to capture and visualise the idea of moments and time; considering thoughts and senses that occur and are experienced every second of every day as a signifier of moments in and of time.
With meditation-like processes I look, consider, select and then simultaneously draw lines forming images; every line drawn contains feelings and thoughts of the moments.
"Flowers are restful to look at. They have neither emotions nor conflicts."
— Sigmund Freud
The objects you see are not the subject matter but rather the means by which I transcribe an abstract subject matter: the feelings and thoughts in/of the moments in time.
These drawings have become a record of my trials to gain awareness of my mind and senses. They are a collection of meditative-observational drawings; essentially, a pile of time traces: anecdotes of my conscious/unconscious thoughts and feelings in the moments.
"Things are not always what they seem; the first appearance deceives many; the intelligence of a few perceives what has been carefully hidden."
— Phaedrus
