Covid Awareness and Institutional Artmaking
While exploring ways to approach art in light of the pandemic's physical condition, I curated a materialisation and reconstructional covid landscape. The hand-washing station is my attempt at a resourceful installation that serves a function within the institutional context, as a gesture of hygiene facilitation.
This work could be read as figurative elements of a crisis striving to perform value both socially and independently or an illustration of a transitional diagram and approach.
The work is an interactive performance piece, completed by viewers activating the appliances. The process of hand washing, hand drying, and sanitising aims to reconcile with the theme of anxiety and panic.
