Dumped Away
One-off goods such as plastic bags are essential to our everyday lives. The lack of emotional attachment leads us to seek disposable goods that are easy to throw away without thinking about environmental consequences we face today.
Every year, 13 million tons of clothes are thrown away in the U.S. alone and the numbers are continuously increasing.
My project this year focuses on ways to reuse and recycle the aftermath of our overconsumption.
Focusing on disposed clothes, thrown out plastic packaging, and every day plastic bags.
