How do we realise what is reality and what is fiction? Can art be a kind of technology to help humans escape the feeling of being objectified in a globalised and hyper-technological world? The world of Searching the Sky for Dreams aims to take us to an invisible space where we dream with art, and experience discontent with the reality, in ways disconnected from the distraction and information. If painting needs time to live, it also needs time to dream, to connect via networks and draw upon its history as it is influenced by everyday life, design, technology, literature and music. These paintings are composed intuitively and stand together to become enveloped by their whole, ebbing and flowing through the air. One might experience a subtle shift between two worlds – the real world and another world in which one can build upon imagination and dreams.
