Presently, my practice is with collage, using analogue, digital and three-dimensional techniques. My interest in collage is born out of a practice concerned with recycling, reclaiming or repurposing materials that are lost, forgotten or redundant in some way.

My work reflects my desire to capture and immortalise the simplistic beauty of nature, and observe normally overlooked species of plants that we take for granted often seen on a daily walk. I do so by capturing the colours of plants before they die through plant drying techniques.

I use forgotten children’s stories to tap into the naivety and innocence that exist in natural themes, capturing feelings from parts of my life that do not exist anymore, and bringing to life the essence remaining buried in the subconscious.

Tapping into memories that are hidden from ourselves and are revealed when portals are opened, through symbolic reminders, these resin artworks are whimsical, nostalgic, sugar-coated windows into worlds of nature and anthropomorphic representations of animals.
