A girl broke the cocoon and grew the wings of a moth, but it also foreshadowed her death.
“Moth. Maybe I am also a larva. Here is the pupa that wraps me. As long as I have experienced eclosion, this boring dream will end.”

The theme of this project revolves around the three short stories I wrote, and it is also my first attempt at animation making. This year, I integrated my life experience of living in a foreign country for many years and my reflection on women's growth experience into my writing, thus creating three stories named Confinement, Dreamland and The Fallen Flower. This work is an animated work derived from the theme of Confinement, which is a story about closure and death.

The state of being enveloped by patterns similar to female genital organ is an insinuation of the consciousness of 'return'. The metaphors of cocoon and moth to express the desire to break through the bondage and self-innovate. In the end, there is still a doubt left in my heart.
